It's not that I don't like it but it just doesn't fits at all with the album. I just don't get it.
If it got turned into a electropop power ballad ala TEoG 2.0 it'd smash Usher- Without You style. We just need to petition Gaga and Zedd to make it into the smash it was meant to be. The acoustic version can be on the app.
The acoustic version of IWBWY doesn't need to be electronic at all. Is that even in anymore? Adele was able to break records and win Grammy's releasing this type of music. Turning it a dance song strips away the emotion that is driving a lot of songs this year.
All these songs have been stuck in my head, even Jewels & Drugs and IWBWY when I hate rap music and I thought IWBWY was her most boring song ever when I first heard it, they are slaying me now, this album will be everything

No if she keeps the same emotion and power singing the song the production can help intesify the emotion. The version she played us sounds incomplete. Its not a strong enough ballad to do stay/SLY slayage. Also yes that style is still in. Clarity would sound amazing as a piano ballad but its able to smash due to its production.
