But a solo career isn't the only thing Bey had, she was also the leader of a trio ... so that counts to her total album sales too : 65 million.

And she may not have made it to #1 on Forbes in her life, but she earned $255 million between 2007 and 2010 alone, averagely $85M per year, which's faster than many artists who actually DID top Forbes (see: J-Low). So #1 on Forbes doesn't make any sense at this point.

I don't think someone with all that commercial success needs to have a song on UWC ....

It's not hard to believe when you stop and consider her discography and how there are no remembered songs in it and nothing has had any global impact.

The stats can be surprising though. Sometimes you forget just how unsuccessful she is, because of her many fans who claim she is one of the greatest artists of all time, along with all those self-funded media campaigns that keep her image and profile alive.

But the numbers do not lie. As a recording artist she has always been an unremarkable, forgotten journeywoman.
