I thought it was kind of messy too. I enjoyed it and I don't regret seeing it but I don't know why it seems to be doing so well with the critics. I most appreciated how the main girl actually knew what she wanted to do and wasn't just a typical stupid character. It was refreshing to see that. I also laughed at some parts, which I know they wanted you to do. I don't know, I just thought it was gonna be something a little different than it was--and I went in expecting a horror/comedy type movie that didn't take itself seriously and while it was that, I don't know it didn't do it for me as much as I hoped.

Watching V/H/S 2 . So far, its totally under my expectation. Some part of the scream hurt my ear. To me, its disappointing to what you guys have said.

Ok, suddenly, this movie getting creepy.

Oh, at some part of the directing and acting : is terribly terribly terribly terrible, pissed me off at some point . But the story and the idea is genuinely original/excellent. Tape 3 or 2(The one with Indonesians )? was the highlight !

I watched "The Conjuring" yesterday, It's really good. Actually, some scenes kinda scared me tbh and that's a good thing since It takes a lot to scare me and I've seen a lot of movies. That's a thing horror movies haven't been able to do in a long time.

It was to me, just endless violence. I enjoyed the violence, but the story was just all over the place. Nothing was scary about it at all.

Also, was the two killed in the beginning suppose to be them trying to make the murders look random? I knew as soon as the one guy went outside and disapeared for like 10 minutes, that he was probably in on it.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure they killed the neighbors so it wouldn't look suspicious that just this family was targeted...at least that's what I got out of it.

And every like ten minutes I'd be like "oh wait, that girl's boyfriend still hasn't come back yet." They could've tried a little harder. I mean, he disappeared near the beginning and he was a main character so I couldn't picture him just getting killed and her finding the body...so I thought he's either in on it or he's gonna come back only to be killed in front of her. And...he was in on it. Of course.

I wasn't expecting anything when I saw it but I was pleasantly surprised.
