Back when I could stand Gaga and her fans I talked about how fun it would be for a white popgirl to have a "black" era, and how much outrage it would cause b/c the public views white girls as more innocent and pure (sorry but it is what it is!). I'm glad Miley delivered that, and along with it a true pop culture water cooler moment.
In a single night, she got more headlines that the homophobic self-hating racist never-was Miguel (not the ATRL member - I see how you could confuse them since neither is in the iTunes top 100) will EVER get in his entire career despite his Marvin Gaye tribute FLOP single being the most promoted song of all time and despite him trying so hard to make it smash he almost killed 2 girls and got his ugly ass sued! Ask anyone on the street if they know what a Miguel is...they'll look at you weird waiting for a last name like Gonzales or Alvarez or something.
EDIT: and speaking of desperation on stage, did you see that GREMLIN simulating sex during his performance, putting the condom on, spreading the legs open, penetrating, ****ing?
