I'm so pissed off, the closest theater with You're Next is an hour away. The theater 30 minutes away always gets new movies but then they skip on this... 2 years waiting and I probably won't see it until the Bluray rip leaks
Agreed. It's not necessarily a super scary movie, but it is a really well-made and fun horror film. I'm glad a lot of people here are liking it too!
Agreed. Most people now may not find movies like The Exorcist scary because they have just been conditioned to different types of horror. I think the acting is pretty great actually and it is still a very creepy movie. I feel the same way about Rosemary's Baby.
Unfortunately, I think with a lot of the bigger gore-fests that have come out over the last few years (Hostel and Saw to name a couple, although I do love Hostel Part II and Saw II), or a lot of "fast, cheap thrills" type of movies really make it harder for a new generation to appreciate the older, slower building ones. I love that a movie like House of the Devil was able to capture a lot of that atmospheric horror in the last few years (although, to be fair, it was basically filmed just like a late 70's/early 80's horror film).
Thank you. I was just coming to ask what was the movie filmed like it was in the 70s so my friend could watch.
I watched "The Woman" I don't even know what to say. Who the **** came up the the story? It's ****ed up that for sure, I guess the point of the movie was to disturb. I don't know if I enjoyed it or disliked it. plus the music was so out of place at times.

I'm watching "I Saw The Devil" tonight.
I liked it. Just because it like i said before the family aspect of the movie is disturbing
I've seen 'The Conjuring' twice and I think its amazing! Its not necessary all scary horror gore stuff but there are a couple of bits that definitely give you goosebumps
