The only problem with this is that the mods become in consistent. They should stick to the same rules with each other.

I know. The case-by-case procedure is failing because the moderator debating will not always belong to the same group as an offended/upset member and may not be able to fully comprehend why/what is so offensive.

No. We're going to discuss how to handle SYG, but I am almost certain it will lead to heavier moderation.

I'm in the vast minority when it comes to how I'd like SYG moderated. A lot of the moderators have never been in there at all and the other ones don't like the purpose of the thread.

The 'stan-base' stigma has to stop first of all. Not every member of a base thinks the same way. It's the mentality that they all do that cause people to falsely point out 'hypocrisy' in other bases.
