He's a massive fan (obviously) but the only reason he meets her so much is because his parents are super rich and pay for him to pretty much follow her around the world, iirc he went to most of the aus shows and when she starting touring in the US he went backstage with his mum and got pictures with her, he acts like he's in the haus or a close friend of her, I think that's what gets peoples back up
