Katy is just an embarrassing human being. So losing to Katy right now must be hard for Gaga. Being less in demand than one of the most basic pop stars of the late 2000's is a low blow to take.

Albums that are filled with 'radio hits' usually suck. I think I would take an album that is enjoyable to my ears than an album that is targeted to sophomores in high school. I already know that Janelle Monae's album will get more spins from me than Katy's or Gaga's. No snobbery.
