I genuinely think she believes in this movement she's trying to create with ARTPOP, just like she did with BTW; but the GP don't care about these things.
They just want the music (as long as it's sing-alongable - I still think that's the major problem with "Applause"). They don't want Gaga to reverse what can be the source of/what can house art. They don't care, and I don't really blame them (even though I think it's admirable what she's trying to do).
