Why would I use if for a 1D base event then?

(I need a compact font for song titles. Prefferable Sans Serif..... that works for long song titles, while not looking stupid on short ones.)

"Sans Serif" isn't a font. It is a class of fonts.

(For example. Times New Roman is Serif since it has those flares at the tips of letters. Arial is sans serif).

Fonts are either Serif, Sans Serif, or Script.
