The thing here is, we all know Gaga's going to bring it with her performance. Some will call it try-hard "gimmicky" Gags, but many will praise it. She knows she has to deliver. As much as she doesn't want to, she needs the sex appeal back in boot. She was really ****ing hot in 2008, and if she wants to regain the straight community, she needs to give them sex appeal. Why do you think lots of dudes like me listen to Katy? It's not entirely because of her catchy hooks.
Conversely (!!!) I feel like if Katy did a stripped down acoustic performance of "Roar" her and Gaga wouldn't have as much "who did it better" competition since they both wouldn't be doing big, bombastic numbers. That could swing it in either ones favor.
So we all have (an) aspect(s) of Gaga that we love.

I know. I just hope that some day she does on another track. I feel like 99% of us have liked Gaga at some point. I just want her to bring it so badly.
Her performances were everything during the TF era, she was so thirsty for success then. She got complacent during the latter half of the BTW-era and especially the tour
