People have been posting when it moves around the iTunes top 10 in lots of countries... I'm sure there were posts made when it dropped from #2 to #3 in Canada, or #2 to #3 in the USA, or from #2 to wherever it is now in the UK. Were they warned? Were they flamebait? It just so happened that I made the post updating her position while it was freefalling in Australia and I was watching the chart... It went from #4 to #7 in a matter of about an hour.
I can understand if I was posting that it dropped from #14 to #15 in Zimbabwe, but as far as I know Australia is a pretty important music market and a country where Gaga has been struggling to crack the top 3 (and instead, she's moving further away from it), so it's a country people are interested in seeing the chart on.
Should people not know that? Should people not take notice?
And don't think that I'm a Gaga hater - I'm sure my 15000 posts on Gaga forums would back me up on that. I want success for her, obviously. Just because it isn't the news people want to hear doesn't make it flamebait.
