I think that if you preorder the album, it counts for the albums chart on iTunes, though we know it counts as digital sale wit Billboard.

Hmmmm. See what is going through my head right now is that you know the complete my album takes away single sales from the singles that you bought them from? What if the pre-order functions in the opposite way--if you originally preorder it and then get the album eventually, they never count the single sale in the first place?
