The Applause thread on the 19th is going to be filled with:
- Monsters pretending to like the single
- Anecdotal evidence that the GP will like the song ("Omg I showed my ____ the song and at first they didn't like it but afterwards they said they loved it! This will be a smash hit!)
- "So much better than WHOAR "
They're so damn predictable
I called it.

Lana can pull off these Artsy-fartsy lyrics way better than it can.
It's the perfect marriage of commercial and weird. I mean the verses are so nonsensical and strange (in the best way possible) but she balances it out with an amazing chorus
just think about movie commercials
The next Meryl Streep movie once her name is announced and this is playing throughout
Applause is generic. Just because its verses are horrible doesn't mean it's experimental.
The chorus is classic "Fame" Gaga, it carries the whole song along with a well arranged bridge. I prefer this to Roar.
I mean I guess there's still room on the podium, so sure Pepcé go ahead and take 3rd place
Standing On The Sun is better and would be better received.
Applause is going to be 80% supported by the Little Monsters.
#Roar is going to be 80% supported by insane (label funded) airplay.
