From my understanding Maryjuana basically stole "We Belong Together" because she wanted a song like it, and came out with "Be Without You" which got her them 629k copies and Grammy.
And the fact Mary opened with 629k and still sits at 3x Platinum with Aaliyah's last studio album.
Yes Thiefliyah, the same thief who stole an Arabic beat for her More Than a Woman single. The only good thing to be released from that messy ass death era.
Rihanna is more vocally talented than Aaliyah this is not up for discussion.
Aaliyah was never a big enough star or good enough dancer to make-up for her paltry vocal capabilities.
Too bad none of them continue to be remembered yet Aaliyah does
Hype STOP. Please.

Aash Ketchum probably couldn't have even sung Stay at the Grammys the way Rihanna did, and no excuses because Aaliyah had somehow been the dead weight in the music industry for the same amount of time as Rihanna's has when she killed journey to the Past at the Grammys.
She is just devoid of spirit, she has nothing.
No success, no artistic integrity, barely beauty etc,
All she has on her side are the punks of the Urban Community and bandwagon gays on the Internet.
"Stay" is SUCH an easy song to sing.
SUCH AN EASY SONG.
THE NAVY SWEARS "Stay" is some kind of vocal tour de force for Rhonda. It's a cute high school talent show jingle. Pls.
Rihanna's is just so inferior to Aaliyah in every way.
"0h shE CaNt sng tha BICH jus whispEred!" Yadda yadda Aaliyah was far more technically proficient and trained than Rihanna is.
+ "Are You That Somebody?" is more critically acclaimed than Rihanna's career.
Unfortunately for you, Umbrella is more acclaimed than Are You That Somebody?
And Rihanna can sing better than 1stOctaveliyah. I'll never get over the deep ass tone she had when she performed One in a Million & The One I Gave My Heart To.

That's a lie. Aaliyah had excellent breathe control and even sung @ the Oscars. All Rihanna has is her tone.

Let's get into how this would be impossible for Rhonda.
People talk about Aaliyah's music all the time, talk about Aaliyah. She literally added nothing to her music.
We all know how talented and flawless Missy and Timbaland were at the time but at the center of that was some little hoe that made it taking off her baretts and blowing an urban legend.
Yet you dare call Rih a hoe.
I stan for a few people, all with more talent than the only non-iconic person to die at the peak of her career.
Amy Winehouse, Janis Joplin, Kurt Kobain, Britney Spears, aaliyah
See? It doesn't look right does it?
Amy Winehouse and Britney Spears don't belong next to Janis Joplin or Kurt Kobain either. lol

Singing deep is bad? K.

Aaliyah studied with her mother, a professional voice instructor since the age of 5. Rihanna has 0 training.

WHY are they attempting?
I'm sorry that was pitiful, did that really blow you away?
A choir or angels couldn't make her vocals impressive, let alone some back-water bottom tenors.
Such a sweet, girly, feminine song, TOTALLY RUINED with her nasty ass awful voice. This performance is embarrassing as hell. Regardless of how bad you wanna call Rihanna, she has NEVER destroyed one of her best songs like this.
I would rather listen to Aaliyah than a Bernard or Billy Goat track. They may have more power in their voices but I find Aaliyahs voice to be more pleasant & easy on the ears. Nard and Goat can have such grating tones. I can only take their songs in small doses. I can never listen to their albums fully in one sitting.
That had some real nerve putting that talent, ess bitch next to Queen Anastacia.
Also I never said Stay was a difficult song to sing, I SAID it was outside of Aaliyah's capabilities to sing and deliver earnestly. I mean she couldn't even deliver easy ass Journey to 2002 at the Grammys..... Just no
