You deserve if for whatever reason you changed it for.

You can't just "change" your IP.. depending on your ISP you either have a static IP (always the same) or a dynamic IP (the last one or two sets of numbers change whenever you reconnect). You can change your IP by switching to a different provider.

You can however "mask" your real IP by connecting to a proxy server so that all your traffic goes through there. That's the best way to circumvent IP bans.
