Of course the tea party are full of racists but I hate how they try to misguide minority youth, because in the party's past their actions helped minorities and many of prominent black figures (like MLK) were repubs . Funny how they don't state that the republican party of today is radically different than yester years....

I know about both parties histories too.The switcharoo happened in the mid to late 60s and ramped up again in 1980

Depends on the Frat/Sorority...there are professional and honorary/academic organizations that are exclusively based on profession or academic status and there are frats/sororities that are social organizations which are community groupings with certain universal requirements like minimum GPA/completed semesters etc. for joining, but, not limited to a particular profession/academic status. Pretty much all of the NPHC organizations (Alphas/AKAs/Ques etc.) are social organizations with a focus on service.
