Lets talk about what we want for the next album.

While reading that "Lady GaGa saved my life" thread, it dawned on me that once upon a time, that was P!nk saving lives. While I love her commercial tunes, I really do miss those powerful tracks she used to make. I miss the political/social commentary tracks of IND that pissed people off. She needs more of that again. She doesn't have to make an album full of pissed off, sad, empowerment songs though. IMO, one of her best written songs ever is Glitter In The Air. Which is all about happiness and finding peace in what's around you. It's just so well written and beautiful. Don't get me wrong, TTAL has some really well written tracks too. It's just they're different kinds of tracks. The only one on the album that could make any sort of personal impact on someone's life is Beam Me Up. (I guess you could argue Try, but she didn't write it. Lol).

So what are your thoughts? What do you want to see from P!nk on her next record?

But TTAL has several tracks that are a new style for her. She has no songs in her discography that sound like The Truth About Love, True Love or Just Give Me A Reason. She also hasn't explored songs like Where Did The Beat Go in ages. I think it was a progression, but just not enough to matter or be noticed.
