Yup luther was taken out the closet after his death back in 05 i think. I mean I think a lot of his listeners knew from the drama with En Vogue to him i'm pretty sure not being gender specific in his songs.

I always question this. She is terrible and I don't understand why she's even called a vocalist. A vocalist is a person that can use their voice as instrument, Xtina can't even control that ****. I mean Beyonce > Xtina. I don't care about what her natural tone or what her potential is when she can't ****ing figure out how to use it. Her fans are amongst the most delusional too.

They equate hollering for heaven/hell = soul, depth, and passion. I don't even know if there is a performance where there isn't one strained note, screaming, over-the-top-belting, etc. She toned it down a bit on her Bionic era (see You Lost Me) but for the most part.

Yeah a lot of people think well she has nice tone and is emotive (which is completely subjective) and think your loud as hell to a la jennifer hudson so you are an amazing vocalist/singer. I think xtina gets such a huge pass because she came out so young with this big voice and is blue eyed with blonde hair
