I miss the impressionable times, too She was everywhere back then, made it so much easier to stan. I think her music this era is better so it makes it easier for me now. I like her looks, too.

She toned herself down to become more likeable with the public, when it was really her polarising image in the first place that made her so successful. I'll always love her though, no matter what. She's a beautiful person and doesn't deserve half the crap she receives. I still listen to her music everyday.

The new Ke$ha is just a little faceless imo. She really didn't have a trace of anyone else in her back then, did she? I feel like some of that edge has gone now that she's emerged as a bona fide pop star. It does sometimes feel like she's now doing what she thinks is expected of her. Maybe stardom isn't what she'd hoped it would be or something, I dunno.

People on the Internet freak out over the Illuminati flower child stuff, but it's nothing compared to the vitriol she used to get for her sleazier persona. Most people are just apathetic now.

To put it simply she just doesnt have that interest that people use to be here for. Its not all her/labels fault. Its purely the fact that the music industry is changing. People care less about names and artist these days, they more just care about songs they like to listen to. The GP has pretty much lost interest in most of the main pop girls/guys.

CroNich, you have a point. I would say it's a mixture of maladjustment to the times and Ke$ha doing what is expected of her while trying to move in a new direction simultaneously.

The way the times are changing in music is what made C'Mon a mistake from day one, the song is straight out of 2011. Looking back, I'm happy she had any success at all with it. Crazy Kids is now suffering in the aftershock and with no promo besides random remixes it's #41 on the Hot 100 and outpeaked Blow in the UK. This is why I always have hope.

She also put on a great show at 'T in the Park'. Her performance skills have really improved, and the Scottish crowd went super wild during almost every performance. It was the biggest reaction she has had in a long time. Clearly people still have some interest in her. I just think this whole Warrior campaign has been severely mismanaged.

I agree, and to be honest mismanagement comes with the gig. No artist is safe from flopping/underperforming, it happens.

As far as the image & whatnot is concerned. I just think she has matured a bit. I mean with the Animal era she was pretty much just rolling with the punches. With "Warrior" and being in the industry for a couple of years now, naturally growth and maturity has come into play.

Ke$ha is in a bit of a funk in her career right now and it sucks. The success of Crazy Kids is still uncertain and album sales are obviously lagging.

I think it's a given that Supernatural will be released when CK peaks, and I can see it being a hit or it flopping. It could go either way.

After that I think it's crucial that she sprints back in that studio and has a new single ready at the top of the summer next year. I don't think she can afford another long break, especially since this era has been so lackluster in terms of success.

Ke$ha embraces her imperfections so sometimes people who want to be perceived as classy and cultured and refined think that disliking her will make them different from her. What we find fault with in others is oftentimes what we dislike about ourselves.

I know I'm not such a big contributer here (in base/CK thread) anymore but you Animals were always the best stanbase here so I wanted to share my experiences with you because yesterday I saw for the first time our ****ing Glitter Queen

I'm not into clubbing or partying, just go to concerts mostly, so I was pretty nervous because I went alone (K$ ain't popular among my little circle of friends ) but when I went in everything was all fine. Mista (the first opening act) was good but the second one (a rapper) wasn't that... I like rap/hip-hop only by English rappers, his only listen-able song sampled Like a G6 and had Facebook in chorus

Must say $he looked older than 26 (I think it's because of the wig ) but her figure is a top-notch truly hot
I screamed my lungs out, was jumping like a crazy person to every effing song
The only weak spot on the set-list was Dirty Love (even the people there responded on the song poorly ), I was also disappointed for no Supernatural, Last Goodbye, Animal, Love Into the Light... but besides that, FLAWLESS!
She was talking about going into a strip-club in Prague (and she liked it ), she also drank our beer on stage (Gambrinus), Pebe was there in the p33n costume Like I said, flawless.

Warrior, Crazy Kids, WRWWR, Blow, Gold Trans Am, Take It Off, PAARDH, C'Mon, BBB, YLIMD and DY were all amazing party smashes but honestly, TiK ToK was definitely the best party banger I've ever heard!!! It was so awesome to scream all those lyrics and just enjoy the atmosphere, I don't know when I'll see her again so I tried to scream really, really loud

Some Americans started screaming "USA" after GTA and we all joint them and K$ gave us, like, the "Wtf" look and then said something like Prague is also beautiful
She also "shot" a K$ money at us I didn't remember she also had some so I managed to take one
