Born This Way (the whole single era) and pretty much all of the single choices f*cked the era for me. Judas was the only single that excited me (and played the sh*t out of, even though I was aware of its similarities to her older classics).

MTN was supposed to be the lead but Gaga chose BTW instead.
She clearly had (too much) control last era.
You have that the other way around. She'd initially chosen MTN herself, and changed her mind after her label convinced her, and then they took over the next four.
The album was very polarizing and all over the place though I doubt everyone could be pleased, maybe if she didn't release so many singles Except for Scheiße
