Wait what. The video is cute! I mean, it might not have been as good as Try, or her previous works, but I think it suits the song. It's supposed to be carefree, lively and fun. The cameo from her family is a representation of true love, her running around with the carrot and other vegetables is weird but kinda hilarious too. The only thing I don't like is the tour thingy which I've never liked in every other artist's videography.
I feel like the touring shots are to represent her other true loves.. Music, performing and her fans.
Pink is in the country right now, and is continuing to wow the crowds with her Truth About Love tour.
Last night she rocked Adelaide to the ground with her first South Australian gig for this tour.
This tour showcases a variety amazing dancing, acrobatics and stage antics, proving once again why P!nk is such a capable performer. On top of all that she is a bad a*s singer as well.
Adelaide brothers Isaac and Thorald Koren from the band The Kin opened for P!nk, and they’ll be continuing as support around the country.
P!nk Australian tour dates
If you’re going to P!nk hoping to see a concert that will impress you as much as her last epic Australia tour, then you won’t be disappointed.
Despite claiming that The Truth About Love tour won’t have as many ‘tricks’ as her Funhouse tour, there was more than enough to keep us entertained, including bungy-like swing, trapeze artists, and even an appearance of her daughter Willow Sage Hart… what else could you ask for?
Alecia Beth Moore is continuing to wow Australian crowds around the country, and parks in Melbourne this Sunday for a few weeks. Stay tuned for full review + photos on take40.com!
P!nk left the stage last night with some strawberry cheesecake from an adoring fan, a gift she said went "straight to her heart".
"I love cheesecake ... you can see how to win me over," she told the audience. "I love you Adelaide, you have all spoiled me, so thank you."
Thank YOU P!nk, you continue to deliver!
Sample setlist – she played both new and old tunes. Legend!
No video. I can't @ Australians. Americans and Europeans uplouded all videos so fast. And there are only few performances of Time After Time on youtube, and she has already performed it 5 times.
I never said "blindly worship". My point was that she has grown up and she's not the same person she was 12 years ago or even 6 years ago. I just don't understand the concept of wanting your fave to not grow up or change. She's human and it's natural for her to change. I can get the criticism of being annoyed by her being "too commercial" now, but I don't think it's right to want her to be the girl from Missundaztood or I'm Not Dead because she's not. She's older, wiser, happier and busier now. So her music has changed with that attitude change as well. I just don't want her to force anything for the sake of pleasing the people who want her to be that 23 year old pissed off rebel again. My point is, she's not going to be that, so expecting that from her is just going to lead to disappointment. You can criticize all you want, but there is a difference between criticism and whining.
And I only referenced Demi because that's the only close pop artist in this day to having that "rebel yet wise and I'm gonna write a song about it" type girl. Lol. She could write a song like Lonely Girl or Family Portrait, but I don't think it would happen in today's music climate.
My post was directed at Oscar who mentioned Michael.
And the old P!nk is a whole different debate. Was the Get the Party Started a rebellious pissed off song? No. Was it commercial? Yes.
And P!nk has plenty off angry pissed off songs on TTAL as well. But that's the great thing, different people connect with different music. There's room for everyone.

I agree 100% that we shouldn't blindly worship everything P!nk does. But asking to get banned and talking $hit just because your fave isn't doing the same type of music she did over 10 years ago is just crazy.
Anyway, she just released True Love and she's still not playing it on the tour? P!nk go have a seat!
I understand people not liking this commercial side of her, but this IS the house that built her. Her songs may not resonate with you, but they still do with me. She writes about her life and where she's at. I LOVE this happier side of Pink. I don't understand some of the comments that sound like they want her and Carey to get divorced so she can be angry again? Like wtf? Why? Because you're jaded and alone? I do NOT care if you're "over her" as a stan because she's happy. That's ridiculous and selfish. That's not a real fan anyways. She's always been herself and always stays true to who she is at every point in her life. If this is her happy, dancey, poppy, commercial album, then so be it! I love every song on the album. If you're wanting songs like Lonely Girl, Runaway, Dear Diary,
etc, then buy a Demi Lovato album. No shade. Just truth! Pink is almost 34 years old. She's grown up. She's not an angry girl anymore. She's a mother who is happy and in love with her daughter and her husband. Here's to never growing up? No! Here's to Pink growing up, loving every minute of it and not giving 2 ****s.
I don't want another Try This, or Missudaztood, or whatever. I want a NEW album, and while her last 3 may have a lot of similar sounds, they are clearly 3 different albums with different messages and a few different sounds. I am more than excited to see what her next album brings because I am a fan of her. I enjoy what she gives me because its honest. It may be weird and it may be "just alright" at times, but it's never really trying to be anything. It just is what it is. Even when it's a message like Stupid Girls, it just is Pink. That's all I want and that's what she gives. She's not the same girl she was 10 years ago. If that upsets you as a fan, then I'm sorry, but she can't please everyone. She wouldn't be happy doing something she hated or didn't believe in just to please a bunch of pressed dated fans. It's just not who she is. You would think people would know that by now.
Family Portait was written 12 years ago. Stupid Girls was written almost 8 years ago. She isn't going to be the same person all the time. She's human. Not a robot.
I do agree with your post. I do still love her music, I just feel like since Funhouse she's been playing it a bit safe, not lyrics-wise but music-wise: I can see a constant progression in her lyrics but not in her sound. I don't want her to go back to her old sound, I want to see the next evolution of P!nk. Don't get me wrong, she doesn't need to record a trip-hop album (although that would be interesting), I'd just like her to experiment some more, incorporate some new sounds throughout an album and make it work, as opposed to three or four songs. That's my input.

And mess @ David thinking Demi can compare to Lonely Girl, Runaway, Dear Diary
I agree. If nobody ever criticised music would never progress.
...and the controversial number one "Just Like a Pill" all combine honest lyrics with a slightly alternative sound, which would later provide the benchmark for the careers of Kelly Clarkson and Katy Perry, to name just two.

...P!nk Box is a comprehensive value-for-money collection from the artist most likely to be the successor to Madonna's pop crown.
