Wouldn't say she ruined them. I love her and her voice (the same goes for Katy), but nonetheless I'm of the opinion that they should have remained Katy's songs.
I feel like Katy put more emotion into it (the 2nd version, the 1st Long Shot demo was terrible), and Katy's voice has a slight rasp/grit to it that fits well with it.
Kelly is the better vocalist, but her version feels too sterile/squeaky clean. I wish she kept the same vibe as the demos.

That's true. I guess that's the case because Kelly was... well, she wanted to call the"All I Ever Wanted" album "Masquerade" since it's not the music she wanted to do, it is what her management wanted, hence she wasn't that emotionally involved, I guess. That's why I wish the songs would have remained Katy's.
