I think Avril will be discounted for longer than a week. It's a part of their monthly 69-cent promotion deal, actually...
Oops
Well I don't see it staying up there too much longer since radios are throwing it in the trash. Clarity still has room to grow on radio, so they still might have a chance in the coming weeks
Kety's discography, bar buzz single "ToY", is not bothered.
Is there anything else? It's Father's Day, so I'm expecting a lot of discounts and boosts for the forthcoming chart.
It's too early to tell, but "Blurred Lines" is already showing the signs of a song destined to be a 6M seller by the end of the year. Possibly more if it holds steady for long enough.

Struggle really isn't the word. I think it's consistency shouldn't be overlooked, and even getting kicked out the top ten of iTunes.. it remained there waiting to slip back in. Should reach 2.5m with ease, 3 million even given the longevity it has shown.
It suffered a lot, too. Random unannounced release, then the complete my album effect. Had he done it at the Grammys + Billboard or Movie Awards it would have had an extra boost within those weeks or in general, but oh well. It's silly to keep downplaying it though. His album is crossing 2 million units soon.. which is far beyond the average album sales for the major hit songs of recent.
Cherry picking has got y'all screwed up.
I don't disagree though, a discount will just kill it.
I agree w/what you're saying. It's consistency is ok but it never really ''took off'' though.
176.000 is a fairly low ''top'' selling week.
