Sales are, but radio is controlled by radio programmers in the industry. It's not in any means a way to tell what the GP is thinking.
Even sales are questionable as a means of what the GP is thinking. A LOT of artists have maximum respect but people don't buy their music just because they don't buy music, hence why digital sales are at it's lowest in 2013 in a decade.

Technically yes. My last full day was last Friday, but I just have "final exams" spread out through this week and next. Tomorrow is Global History. Monday is Spanish, and Wednesday is Geometry, then I'm done.

am already enjoying my summer vacation. My friend had an algebra regents today and I didn't give a **** tbh.

Most of you all are smart people. Help me out.
Ive been like producing music, and I want to put out a mixtape. What are some good strategies to promote it? I dont want to put out a mixtape that ive worked super hard on and only have people from my city hear it. Any suggestions on how to promote/get my music out there?

Yahoo was a bad example, because they hate everyone in the comments, but still I get what you mean. When Nicki went to that Oscar party, EVERY SINGLE URBAN BLOG AND URBAN BLOG COMMENTS were praising her. And then the Middle American blogs like Huffington Post (notice I said Middle American, not Liberal American) had hate in the comments.
But that's basically it, really.

Ehh, she could wear one for a music video.
She can still wear the crazy styles for music videos if they match the theme of the song IMO. It't all about using different types of creativity but in different times & settings.

I'm not sure Brice, but I have a question for you.
How do you make music? I love writing, but I don't know how to even begin the recording process, getting beats, laying the voice on the track, etc. I tried Garageband but I have no idea how to use it & microphones, recording equipment, etc. can be very expensive.
Please help me.

I produced a biT back in my days on Pro Tools, but that might be too advanced for you as a beginner.

Hm. Well I cant sing at all so I really dont know what to tell you as far as recording vocals go. Ive never done it
