To be honest I think Britney just used Rihanna.

When Rih's team contacted Britney's team to propose the Remix , I'm sure that as soon they explained to them that "S&M" was at #2 on Billboard hot 100 and the remix purpose was to make the song #1, Brit's team didn't even doubt about it if Britney could get another #1 song on Billboard hot 100 on an easy, effortless and basically guaranteed way.

Then I don't think Britney or her team accepted to do the Billboard 2011 performance because she was so excited to be on a Rihanna performance, I think Britney used it as an oportunity to show the public she was still in the business as she was treated as well as the highlight of the performance, with the purpose of getting relevance given the low sales of her "Femme Fatale" album.

after that when Britney got already what she wanted she refused to shot a music video for the song, even when Rihanna said she wanted to do it , and that it was up to Britney to make it , clearly Brit didn't want it , and she really never seemed as excited working with Rihanna as she was with Will.I.am for example, she even agreed on shoting the Scream & Shout remix music vid and everything.

I only posted one song today but that's just because it was giving me LIFE. Aside from the random Britney posts from time to time, I usually engage in the set topic of discussion at the time.

I went to work out and took a shower, and then come back to ATRL to see a thread with over 200 replies closed. I always miss the fights

I wish I was online, I saw some GaGa and P!nk stans trying it...THE ABSOLUTE NERVE OF THOSE THINGS.

But yes, the Army is the absolute worst at dragging, posting, defending, living, pretty much everything. The only thing we seem to be good at these days is discussing Circus vs Femme Fatale

Funny you would say that; I've been running some numbers and I came up with a range of numbers that either "Ooh La La" or, more likely, album 8's lead single, would need to pull #1 with the new formula in the average week.

This is assuming that the songs are not released to streaming services, receive negligible streams from YouTube lyric videos, and the music videos are not released that week.
