1M in the US. (Platinum)
300K in the UK. (Platinum)
100K-200K in France. (Platinum - 2X Platinum)
Around 100K-200K Japan. (Gold)
100K in Germany (Gold)

Those are the 5 main music markets in the world, so I hope she can perform well like that in those places. I'm aiming for a cool 2.5M-3M. If anything, as long as it passes 2M, I think I'd be fine with everything.

And, yes, 4M would definitely be God sent and quite impressive!

2 million WW doesn't seem hard. With a hit single like Womanizer maybe 3mill.

Yeah, FF did 1.5M so this record can definitely push that extra 500K and get to 2M especially since it's in the fall and will get a boost.

I don't know. Seeing someone like Rihanna struggle to sell 3M with juggernaut singles like Diamonds and Stay makes me really question how this record will sell. And I know that Rihanna isn't like Britney in terms of album sales, but the comparison is still valid.

Plus, this record could always have even bigger hits, especially outside the US such as in the UK.

@Typhlosion we all wish she could do 6 million, but that'll take a hell of a lot of promo, hit singles, and above all, luck.

Taylor's still not really the biggest global seller, though. Rihanna's Loud sold like 1.7 or 1.8 million in the US and 6 million worldwide. It's definitely possible for someone like Britney, but it would take one hell of an era for her to come close. She'd need all the right promo at all the right time, a lot of hype, and big hit singles. The probability of everything coming together perfectly how it would have to, though, is so slim it's almost not worth considering. You never know, though.

Pretty much. Britney would need an era that appeals to everyone with hit single after hit single with good promo spots WW.

In other words she would literally have to repeat the ITZ era.

It doesn't matter really but she just needs one more hit album at least then it wouldn't matter. If this album flops the media will be on it to call her a fading star and say she is done.

Basically. But I don't know how the lack of a tour for this record will affect how it will be promoted. I'm hoping for something more prolonged and spread out and not condensed into a span of 3 mos. But, nonetheless, I'm happy to know that the chance of her releasing in the fall is likely and things are going to get good now with Oh La La and then the lead single after it.

Britney is at a solid 34.5M albums in the US. I'd like for her to reach a solid 40M by the time she reaches, let's say, her 12th or 13th album, assuming she gets that far.
