I don't get why there was a kesha debate but when its all said and done Kesha will not be known for what you claim she is better than most pop gurls for. She will be known for being popular for a brief period of time and using autotune which gp automatically assumes means she's doing it to cover up that she can't sing. I don't agree but that will be her legacy. Her generic pop songs will be like Ice Ice baby and hammer time and barbie girl. Cute for the time but that's it.
Whether Nicki s a better singer or not I'm certain that Nicki will go farther in her singing her own songs on her records than Kesha has done with her not singing in her better voice on her records that are released.
To me, Kesha is in a lose lose situation even if we were to say she sings better.

Whether that is true.
Nicki will be known as a far better rapper and a far more successful singer whereas Kesha will be known for autotune and overprocessed vocals. GP think that translates to "can't sing" that's the trap Kesha set up herself unfortunately.

Her tone is great. I hope she explores it more. The fact that Nicki will most likely be taken more seriously as a singer than Kesha shows that it's about how you brand yourself and the impact. It's actually laughable. It's kind of like an actress being known more for legal troubles than the talent. When it's all said and done what is your legacy going to be?
