Nicki does not need no pop songs, no superbass or starship like songs for album 3.


its so much more powerful when her hits are urban and hip/hop as appose to her pop songs beings hits.

It would be good move to get Kendrick on the album or just a feature in general because everyone is currently on the Kendrick bandwagon. He's a critically acclaimed artist. Those are the ones who bring the best out of Nicki.

I can't be the only one who wants to hear the final version of "Cupid's Got A Gun" right? Shanell said the final version is more upbeat... It's been three years and all we have gotten was another demo with rock influences which I don't believe is the final version.

Her ideas for the video and description of the final song seem interesting and remind me a lot of I'm Out. It probably has been scrapped as she later said in an interview last year that she does not want to have her first album, if we ever get it, to be "flooded with features" (implying no Nicki or Drake collabs whom she seems bitter towards tbh). Though, she did mention YM collabs in a VIBE interview... So who knows for sure.

I honestly think that it would be a good "modern" song if Shanell re-recorded it and allowed Nicki to put a fresh 2013-sounding verse (as Nicki has come a long way with her writing from 2009/2010 and we easily could get another verse like Somebody Else).

Why does her Hip-Hop have to be either gritty or crossover?

She can make Hip-Hop songs that are neither gritty OR crossover but just well produced, all around quality to get her Top 10s.

If she does this album right, there's no need for crossovers.
