You shading me because I am in my 20s and on a forum is laughable. There are people my age and older not only on ATRL but blog and do this for a living.
I already mentioned my career as a budget analyst, my 3 degrees, my homeownership, car ownership and I've already stated I make over 90k and am aiming to get to six figures in the next few years. And you?
Why do you think I don't post in here past 9 pm typically (hence my iconic multiquotes)? I have a career (not a job) that i go to. I also get to work from home from time to time (telework). The luxury of being established.
While you are all in here at the wee hours when you should be sleeping and prepping to get to the point where I am at (flexibility and control) you all are in here. It's cool. Do you. No judgment. I remember when I was in high school I was on this thing called EFG forum and didn't understand why anyone in their 20s would still be on here but I see now that if anything it makes sense for an adult rather than a teen that should be hitting the books. I am almost certain when you get my age (or if you make it to my age) you will still be on blogs/forums etc. I mean, I guess I could just go to CNN and MSNBC forums but I come in here (and a few other forums) to stay on the pulse of pop culture. While I do frequent more mature forums, I like the variety.
The age discrimination is laughable.
I actually love that I am 28 (shout of to the other 20 something and I heard there were a few 30 somethings).
When it's all said and done, I am established in my personal iife and professional life where I can have control and flexibility. I can't believe people that haven't even accomplished enough can come for me. Why do I feel like Keri hilson or Azealia Banks just tried to come for me?
Just know that you are not there yet and you might be careful who you shade. You might not end up successful in life. Just because you make it into college doesn't mean you will make it out of college with a degree or in my case 3 degrees from two universities.
Remember your opinion shouldn't be bigger than your bank account/value/net worth which is why I am quite free.
Now, I can easily stoop to the level and hit below the belt with you and have hour long fights but I know to keep my composure which is why I'm never in danger of getting banned.
I try to school you barbz based on experience and I'm sure there are some that appreciate it. that's all that matters.
The difference with me is that I can read with receipts because I'm accomplished and established and have experience and a foundation...you don't have that.
I'll never let someone that hasn't accomplished what I have or more upset me but just understand why your discrimination and hypocrisy is laughable.
Note: you were much more involved in the threads in the past and after I went in on you a few times you laid low so yes I did notice and yes you did fade into obscurity but welcome back as I see you have mustered up some will to get back into the game.
