I feel like "Hermit the Frog" is so underrated.
It's one of my absolute favourites from Marina, and yet no one talks about it.

But "Teen Idle" is a masterpiece. Quite possibly in my Top 10 songs of all time.

Hermit The Frog is amazing, but for me it's overshadowed by atleast six other songs on The Family Jewels.

Teen Idle is the best song on Electra Heart.

The Family Jewels is my favourite album I've ever heard. I feel like I connect and resonate so much with it, and it's so good that I understand why people would rank any of the songs over my personal favourites. Every song is just .

I'm glad they cleaned it up for the album, because the version on Mermaid vs Sailor is very messy, haha. But it's so quirky, has so much attitude, and the chorus is very pop. I love that about Marina's music because no matter how alternative and weird she might get in her verses, she knows how to throw in a nice vocal melody or chant to bring out it's pop capability.

I missed her high and very deep notes on EH her voice is very different on it.
I hope it will return with her next album.

MARINA: Honestly? Probably just ****ing off somewhere and never coming back. Electra Heart is done. I’m looking forward to just living a normal life, and you know, seeing friends, and just being in one place for a while. So I think after this summer, I’ll probably disappear for a while.

I was really surprised by the turn out for her Pittsburgh concert last night. I was only expecting like 100-200 people, but the line wrapped around the entire block (which was massive). I still got a really good spot, though. The concert was amazing; probably the best one I've been to. There was a lot of weed smoking and a few fights in the audience, but the crowd was pretty tame and polite. Marina blew me away, even if she did come across as annoyed throughout most of the concert.
