Well, it's official. #YouSetMeFree will not be able to appear on the charts. But it has been doing really well!! Thanks to all of you!!=) <3
Darling, there were times when the Idol winners debuted on #1 on the HOT100!
Pointing out how the winner now fails to crack the itunes top10 instantly only illustrates the shows demise.
I wasn't saying Idol hasn't gone way downhill, because obviously it has, I was just saying Candice getting to #11 is a bigger jump than Mariah jumping a few places.
And IICRC that performance pushes her to sell 300k for that week, so big numbers for the artist of the year: Macklemore and Ryan Lewis
Imagine if Selena pulls a huge increase and gets the top spot, she's clearly on fire right now and having her most sucessful single in her career

Over on the Digital Songs chart, we have a new No. 1. Carly Rae Jepsen's "Call Me Maybe" jumps two spots to No. 1, selling 293,000 downloads (up 25%). Jepsen performed the track on Sunday night's (May 20) 2012 Billboard Music Awards, which may have aided the song's sales bump.
The following week, it jumped to 300K. Nonetheless, still an impressive boost in sales

I honestly can see Selena fighting for the top spot as well. There is a wild card in the name of Kanye West who may also challenge for the #1 (if his songs gets released tonight/tomorrow/soon).
