I think he/she meant that she loved triumphant and AH immediately but they did miserably bad on the charts. She implies that her not liking the song on a first listen it will smash the charts now... or something like that.
I love the fact that she's going back with her sound. And I absolutely love her midtempos (Memoirs is flawfree for that), but this one... ain't doing nothing for me by now.
Has anyone ever had a number 1 single 23 years into their career before? I know Madonna and MJ haven't and noone after them has managed to be relevant on the singles chart that long so I'm guessing no?
Aw, it's a cute song! I like it. So much better than Triumphant, and it seems like the type of song that will grow on me after some time with it.

Only the clean version is available. If she releases an explicit version soon than she knew exactly what she was doing, because then I'll have bought this twice.
The melody is really mesmerizing. Miguel's and Mariah's voices are so smooth and go so well together. I feel a bit of The Beautiful Ones in there. I bow down to Mariah bringing REAL music back to mainstream again. The whistles slayed too.
