One of the highlights on "
In the zone" is the instrumentation , despite its dance / urban nature you can still hear real instruments such as piano, guitars, violins, etc and even middle eastern instruments through the songs. thats what Britney needs again.
"
Femme Fatale" was fun, but it was lyrically extremely superficial with no substance , and it was way too much robotized, it was fun but the human side / aspect was drained , excluded and forgotten in the result of the album.
Britney just needs variety on her lyrics, is not about deep lyrics its just normal songs that express points of views, fears, statements, etc , instead of a set of repetitive songs about clubs, and sex . . . with a more human production and music getting rid off the abuse of auto-tune, synthetizers and the computer as the main instrument of the album .... and Will knows that.
