I know, it's stalling in sales, he needs a big performance so it can reach #1 and gain more exposure. But maybe they're saving their coins for the real smash aka Tunnel Vision to get those 500k sales per week

Cause some songs are played in clubs. Ofc Stay will see decreases on weekends and Thrift Shop will increase for example.

There are a variety of reasons why songs increase on weekends (as Marooner5 explained above me). Also, I've noticed that more people just generally tend to purchase songs on the weekends vs during the week. Some other factors might include the VH1 top 20 countdown that airs every Saturday and Sunday, and another factor could include Ryan Seacrest's radio countdowns (Hot AC on Saturdays, Pop on Sundays) that are nationally syndicated on many stations.

These are the reasons why Gone, Gone, Gone increases every week-end because it climbed from #17 to #10 on VH1 countdown today and it was #15 last week on HAC countdown and i'm sure it'll climb a little today (the chart is not out yet)
