I don’t see why people are so mad at none of these songs being the single. Like she’s literally immersing the general public in her new era through 4 great songs, and on top of that she’s still gonna release a killer single. People will know the music more than just 1 or 2 pre-album singles, and if they like it, they’ll have incentive to buy the album, which is good for sales. She used the internet with Bow Down/I Been On to hype, then she used commercials of popular brands with Standing On the Sun and Grown Woman, and she’s even using an anticipated movie’s soundtrack for a cover so people will know that she’s back. She’s yet to release a single, but she already has enough hype for her “comeback” to sell really well.
On another note, I don't really want Bow Down/I Been On to be on the album. I hope it's just a hype track or something. Standing on the Sun is a masterpiece and I hope it's a future single. A snippet is already slaying me.
yes, i completely agree. It's great for the GP, just torturous for some stans. I remain patient tho.
I dont care if Bow Down/I Been On is on the album in its current incarnation but i'm still hoping that the I Been On production would be recycled for an actual sung track.
The producer and his former Major Lazer partner Switch produced 'Run the World (Girls)' - the first single from Beyonce's last album, '4'- and he has been back in the studio with her again, although it is not yet known if their collaboration will be on her forthcoming fifth record.
Does anybody know if Beyonce has done anything for the "Epic" Soundtrack?
(At the back of my mind, I'm hoping the track Dr. Luke reportedly worked on with her with all the horns is the track.
Could you imagine that? The pop people could get their Beyonce fix, and she would lose no credibility as a unique artist because it was for a soundtrack.)
