That song was 2003. I remember hearing it everywhere. I remember watching the VMA performance. I remember her teaching Oprah the dance. I remember the song was on my mp3 and CIL and Naughty Girl were my favorites from her back then.

I remember seeing the Crazy in Love video on TV at a friend's house. I'm not sure if I heard it before yet but I wasn't a stan so I didn't think much besides that it sounded good. I think I remember wondering if she covered a 60s song because it sounded familiar/retro to me.
My stan process was relatively slow actually. I really didn't get too interested in Beyonce until Naughty Girl which I loved. I liked Baby Boy a lot too but passingly, it didn't make me stan. Then after loving most of the Destiny Fulfilled singles I LOVED Check On It. And then when I was listening to the radio in my backyard in the summer of 2006 I heard a song and wondered, "Is that a new song by Beyonce? I didn't even know one was coming!" Then that's when the stan spark took flight and I saw her come to MuchMusic and was full stan.
I loved Crazy in Love at first but it got old really fast. Once I got the DiL CD, I immediately liked Baby Boy and Naughty Girl more. Baby Boy got old after radio started playing it, but I've never gotten tired Naughty Girl.
when she says that I melt. Sia is such a good writer. She takes chances with the melodies changing the chord out of the blue to force you to listen to the words.
I'm glad she's finally able to do that at mainstream radio, it's beautiful. I need this damn song.
As good as the week has been. Do we know if one of them is going to be the single? It's kinda obvious GW won't be the single since the snippet supported by a very popular commercial has been out for almost 3 weeks and she didn't capitalize on that.
