Album sales are REALLY Poor.
Poor Rihanna, she'll struggle real hard to sell 1 million and after a HUGE hit. She won't even get 700k until mid October at the earliest.
 at HSM2
I don't see anything special with Fergie.
Something else that's so strange: the Jonas Brothers and Aly & AJ are featured on Disney a lot yet they can't even sell 200k yet. Even Floppary Duff's last album sold 200k in just a month.

According to HITS, Kanye will win against 50. With over 800k while 50's is in between 500k-700k. Kenny will be in third place.

'High School Musical 2' Still Tops On Billboard 200
Katie Hasty, N.Y.
In a quiet week for new releases, the soundtrack to Disney's "High School Musical 2" remains atop of the The Billboard 200 for a fourth week. The set moved 165,000 copies in the U.S., a 22% decrease from last week's total. It's the first album to rule the roost on the big chart for four weeks straight since March 2005, when 50 Cent's "The Massacre" was at the summit.
Despite a 4% decrease to 49,000, Fergie's "The Dutchess" (Interscope) continues to rebound 5-2, the highest rank yet for the album in its 51 weeks on the chart. Miley Cyrus' Disney double-disc set "Hannah Montana 2 (Soundtrack)/Meet Miley Cyrus" climbs 4-3 with 47,000, despite a 20% sales dip. After bowing last week at No. 2, Casting Crowns' "The Altar and the Door" (Reunion) falls to No. 4 with 41,000 (-69%).
Equal Vision act Chiodos' "Bone Palace Ballet" is the only debut within the top 40 on the chart, entering at No. 5 with 39,000. The rock act's third effort easily trumps the No. 164 bow and peak of 2006's "All's Well That Ends Well" with 6,000.
New Line's "Hairspray" soundtrack stays put at No. 6 for a second week with 39,000 (-13%) while the "Now 25" hits compilation remains at No. 7 for a second week with 38,000 (-14%).
As the single "Rockstar" continues to climb the Billboard charts, Nickelback's "All the Right Reasons" (Roadrunner) prolongs its return to the top tier on The Billboard 200. The album rises 10-8 with 36,000, an 8% sales decrease. Amy Winehouse's Universal Republic set "Back to Black" climbs 13-9 with 29,000 (+2%), while Linkin Park's "Minutes to Midnight" (Machine Shop/Warner Bros.) ascends 11-10 with a 6% sales hit to 28,000.
New at No. 41 is Every Time I Die's "The Big Dirty" (Ferret) with 14,000, a significant upgrade from the No. 71 peak of 2005's "Gutter Phenomenon." Christian group Israel & New Breed's "A Deeper Level: Live" (Sony) bows at No. 48 with 12,000.
Album sales this week are down 3.8% compared to last week's sum at 7.35 million units and down 22.7% from same week last year.

GO WEST YOUNG MAN
Kanye’s Opening Week of 800k+ Will Be Biggest in Two Years, 50 Cent at 600k, Kenny Chesney 450k
September 12, 2007
School may have just started, but Kanye West’s Graduation has come just in time for the beleaguered music biz.
Following one of the worst weeks in the history of album sales comes one of the liveliest, and boy was it needed.
Thanks to a record-shattering first day at iTunes and traditional retail (where it reportedly sold more than 435k), IDJ artist West will debut at #1 on next Tuesday’s HITS Top 50 Album Chart, easily surpassing 800k in sales.
That would more than top Linkin Park’s previous one-week high of 625k set in May and Rascal Flatts’ 2006 high of 722k. In fact, it would be the biggest sales debut since West’s last album Late Registration bowed in August 2005 with 860k.
Shady/Aftermath/Interscope
Shady/Aftermath/Interscope rapper 50 Cent, who has loudly declared he’d retire if West’s album sold more than his, better start boning up on his golf game, because Curtis will land at #2 with a still-impressive 600k, plus or minus.
Kenny Chesney will have to settle for third place with his new album Just Who I Am: Poets and Pirates on SBMG Nashville, which will bow at #3 with around 450k.
The only other album of note to hit retail is the latest edition of the Gray’s Anatomy soundtrack from Disney's Hollywood Records.
The market was down a little less than 4% vs last week, down about 23% vs same week last year and now down 14.5% year-to-date.
