The amount of doom in here

I have a great track record for predictions on here when others had doubt and have only been off with 1 prediction so far. (Granted I was way off)

I personally think that Epic is doing a pretty good job so far with HTNGU. I think it's smart to have not promoted yet because the AI is so low at the moment. Most of the time when you promote as soon as the single is released, the song burns out rather quickly after a high point. The radio interviews get stations involved which will help in the long run.

Here's to Never Growing Up will peak in the Top 10 at the least and is likely going to hit Top 5. #1 is also possible with the right promo IMO which I believe is a strong possibility.

By the way, I'm new to posting in Avril land so, Hi everyone HTNGU is definitely in my Top 3 Avril songs ever and may become my favorite if it continues to grow even more on me. Awesome song

What I've been saying to everyone the whole time Your post is spot on! Ignore the doom, it's just the fear from Avril fans of the song flopping since we were so used to it during Goodbye Lullaby. So far the song is doing awesome. Radio is picking it up like no other, and Epic is smart waiting until the song truly needs promotion.

We will be the positive Avril fans I fully trust Epic actually. L.A Reid did quit the X Factor in order to focus on his label after all. I think Avril personally had a lot to do with that too. Judging from the interviews, L.A & Avril have a genuine connection and they fully support each other. Depending on her material, this album could definitely bring Avril back to the top, HTNGU sounds like a great start to me! Back to her roots, yet fresh and modern. Hope the whole album is an evolution of Let Go

By the way, I was a huge fan of Avril's first 2 albums but she lost me, sounds like she's back to me! Will defiantly be posting in her threads more.

Though i still think they can do better. I'm not going to compare her to Selena but Selena's label did a very great job to help her to stay stable inside Top 10. Epic could've done it too. But i guess may be they want it to explode later in summer, that's why they let it falls temporarily.
