Onika spoke to a radio station and they asked her about new music.
Album news begins @ 18:43.
It's a great interview and she said some great ****
Quote:
"I'm not putting a time limit on this next album because I want it to be an organic transition. I just want to give people what they fell in love with originally & sometimes when I would write on my mixtapes & first album, I would write verses 3 or 4 times over if I had to. I remember writing Warning & it taking over a week to write. So everything was a perfected line, perfected metaphor, perfected rhyme & with the second album I was doing so much that I didn't have the chance to sit down rewrite over, over, & over. So I promised myself with the third album, if I had to write 10, 20, 15, 30 billion times, that's what I'm gonna do."
Dead Wrong was THAT ****!!!
And her talking about warning >>>
I need to be the third album to have a Playtime Is Over meets Beam Me Up Scotty meets Sucka Free flow.
I want a full pop album. Screw people who hate me for that comment.
I kinda do too. But I think if she does a pop album it has to be separate from the rap album. Roman Reloaded should have been two separate albums. It just didn't sound right together
