this is amazing, despite the fact several of her songs have been included on high profile films, this must be the very first time she finally will have an original song for a high-profile hollywood film.

well "I'm not a girl, not yet a woman", was written for the film "Crossroads", but she ended including the song on her album which was released first than the film.

It doesn't matter if it flops , it just a soundtrack, and generally film songs don't become huge hits.

what I like about this is that finally Britney will get an original song for a huge film, that was something I was expecting in her career.

Both Avril & P!nk released soundtrack singles that completely bombed practically everywhere so yeah don't expect too much. I'm sure because it's britney though it'll do well first week and reach the top 10 in some places like Finland and France though.

LOL guys, "Oh la la" is going to flop hard ... soundtrack songs rarely become hits ....

.. and the song is not related to her album , its for the soundtrack of the film.


.. the important thing here is not the success of the song ... is the fact that finally Britney was considered to have the original song for a high-profile film .... I feel like film industry was snubbing her on giving her original songs for films. Finally she got it. and I like that.

and the song hasn't been released yet, she said she wrote it, so probably the full credits hasn't leaked yet .... I remember when the info about Rihanna's "Unapologetic" was revealed she was apparently not credited on any song .. and when the album was released she was credited.

There's a chance it could do fairly well. Bruno Mars "It Will Rain" was a soundtrack song and that smashed -- unlike P!nk/Avril/Adele...this song sounds like it was tailor made for radio. Dr. Luke and summer is typically a match made in Heaven.

Additionally, Britney was a feature on S&S, so radio will look forward to playing her solo again until the new album comes out.

I'm sure this song will do fine. Top 20 hit for sure, probably Top 10 too. It sounds like it's bound to be a perfect radio bop. And if it does smash, it'll hold the public over until the 8th album lead single. Not to mention The Smurfs 1 grossing $560 mill and The Smurfs 2 projected to do more.
