MDNA was a good album but it lacked some effort not only in her commitment to the project but in her sometimes inept management. Hard Candy has grown on me its kinda BS part II.
It kinda is BS pt 2 the same R&B and urban influence... I prefer Bedtime Stories though.

One is an unspired album with hardly any highlights, the other is one of her BEST lyrically and an underrated masterpiece

Variety people that is why the Queen is THE Queen! Just look at someone like Mariah Carey I mean no shade and i love her voice but her music is always the same You might not like a particular Madonna song or album but you can't deny that there is always something for everybody when it comes to her music.
I don't get the comparisons of Bedtime Stories to hard candy.
The vocal work on the two projects are completely different.
Bedtime Stories was a great fusion of New Jack, Pop, R&B and a touch of electronica (from the flawless title track), while Hard Candy was louder and less cohesive sounding Pop and R&B.
And I don't even want to get into the difference in the lyrical content and quality.

I was just saying that the urban/R&B influence is kinda same-ish not that the albums are in same league or something Nevertheless I found my way to Hard Candy. I never really like it (hated Heartbeat, Incredible and Spanish Lesson which has never happened (that I would *hate* some M's song)). But it grew on me; now I can seriously enjoy listen to the whole album
I feel like such a fake fan. I keep discovering songs by M that I never heard before, and I'm just so incredibly late.
Within the past week it was It's So Cool, Hey You, and Supernatural.
You are soo lucky! when i first became a M stan (which it was kinda late) i used to love the feeling of discovering not only songs but albums, music videos, interviews etc etc
