No shade but nobody outside of Atrl tallks about gaga.
She is currently going through a big decline. Sure she had a successful tour that sold out because of the early hype of the BTW ball tour.

Rihanna however gets #1 songs every year, her albums sell more than decently WW.
Selling out arenas, and stadiums. Unapologetic is already very close to 3million after a few months of release.

Rihanna success is so underrated because she didn't have a big rise to the top like Britney, or Gaga.
However she gets bigger and bigger with every era.

Bad Romance, Poker Face, Just Dance (just because it was her debut), Born This Way and maybe The Edge Of Glory. I don't know if Paparazzi or Alejandro are memorable enough but I'm sure people remember them once they get played on the radio.

Rihanna has Umbrella, We Found Love, and what else Love The Way You Lie maybe Only Girl but i doubt people still remember it?

Lol no shade to Rihanna but her albums sales are really inconsistent. She sold poorly with her first albums and "mixtapes", then had a big year and we could say her real rise with GGGB and Umbrella. Then had an underwhelming era with Rated R selling no more than 4 million albums, then we have Loud a successful era with 6.5 millions, then TTT with 4 millions and now Unapologetic with 3 millions so far, that's not getting bigger and bigger to me lol.

And GaGa just took a long break something Rihanna has never done, that's not a decline. In fact Rihanna's yearly releases make her seem more succesful, let's not forget it took Rihanna 5 albums to overcome what GaGa did with two. And touring wise there's no comparison.

But yeah she's successful but not successful enough to be the NEW queen of pop, it just happens that she's the only big pop girl from this generation to have music out for the moment.
