I am beyond pressed right now. Mostly because I LOVE Miranda, too. It's such hard place to be. I think they were just going with what was considered most "country" and Blown Away (the song) was definitely more pop than country...lets be honest here. But she is still an ambassador for country music and is so loyal to it. Like, she NEVER does remixes in order to get pop play....and yet she still gets pop play and still slays the country charts as well. LIKE WHAT THE ACTUAL ****?
I just love how even though she didn't win anything she still had one of the Top 2 performances of the night. I think her and The Band Perry tie But for real though.
imo the only think im happy won was Over You... the rest
HER PERFORMANCE WAS V COOL imo
OH a 2day my dad did his sermon/message using the BA music video
sounded like every1 was like :O
some1 had asked if she wrote it from personal experience
but yeah so much Carrie promo 2day regardless of the snubs...
Her perfomance was flawless, but the Academy gave credit to Miranda as an ARTIST
an artist that achieved only a small percentage of what Carrie did last year as an artist.
we all know these award shows are so political. I guess Sony Nashville assumes that Miranda needs these awards to remain commercially relevant, while Carrie continues to be profitable for them regardless.

Except the FV award is for the best vocalist, which Miranda obviously is not.
Besides, Carrie's written/co-written several smashes, and imo her writing is much better than that of Miranda's. Carrie's the better artist, and it seems like Miranda even knows it.
Female Vocalist isn't all about vocals it's just the title, it should be changed to Female Singer of the Year. I think they're trying to reward Miranda though for staying closest to the genre perhaps. Carrie and Taylor both are both not 100% country so perhaps the Academy thought it wasn't fair to reward her for that?
