No. I understand there is an actual village named Godney, but I guarantee a lot of people in that thread weren't talking about the town. Plus if everytime someone uses Godney and gets warned, we're going to be swarmed with help requests and HQ posts saying "I was talking about the village, mods reverse this nonsense!"

And what would we possibly talking about in thread called "Britney Acknowledges GODNEY UK + Nickname" Don't know about the others but I've used it only in this thread (and I'm aware of the no-nickname rule but I didn't consider it as a nickname (when it actually wasn't)). The thread about 'G0dney' was just an exceptional case (nobody should make excuses about it next time or anytime) thus it would have been seen more moderately

Godney = Britney, that's what you all would be talking about. The article was about Britney stans and their use of Godney popularizing and bring the attention to the village of Godney. Nobody, if so not many, even knew there was a village called Godney before that thread/atricle. This is ATRL, we know nobody is going to be like "Praise Godney [the town] " "My lord, my savior, Godney [the town] " anyway.
