her songs have this alicia keys-y "wow this is terrible but does anybody really care" radio fodder quality about them imo

Well Alicia used to be good at least. idk about where you live but the radio here plays Kelly non stop

I didn't really love the album as a whole but Candyman and Ain't No Other Man are some of the best pop songs of that decade.
