VH1 StoryTellers: Avril Lavigne
Tonight Avril offered a very special show to all of her fans, in what turned out to be a wonderful event.
She started the night thanking all of his fans for coming to the show, and also told them that it would all be worth it, specially for those who stay after the show.
Avril talked about the album, said that she made this album for women, gays, and all minorities to help them get inspiration in life, and be stronger in front of everything, and show them how valuable they are, and dedicated her last song of the show 'No Problem!' to them.
Among the songs performed include old classics as 'Girlfriend' and 'Complicated', and her new songs from her album, 'You Want it' which was the openning song for the show and put everyone to dance, the nostalgic 'Gone for a While' that has become an early fan favourite of her new album, and the crazy 'Wild Party (The Vodka Song)'.
Just before the show ended Avril said
"There's an announcement I'd like to do to all of you. I wil be touring around the world, with one of my best friends. I'm really excited about it, this will be the biggest tour I'll be having, and I'd really like you to attend, it will be huge! And she is one of my favorite artists, I know you are gonna love it. Do you want to know who she is? Stay tuned, because you'll know this week who am I talking about" And after the announcement she walked out and the show ended, but Avril still had one more surprise.
As she promised, there was still one more surprise after the show ended, she held a
private party at a local lounge
with the fans that stayed after the show ended where she talked with the fans, took pictures with them, and party hard. We were told that one fan got to drunk and kissed Avril, and when the guard was going to kick him of the party Avril just said her album title: No Problem!
Things like that create BACKLASH, not praise.
