Alright, I'll admit. The amount of judges and their differing opinions has me completely on edge. I don't know if I like it. A few of them could praise my entry over something I've focused on and then the other could bring up something I totally didn't see or thought that mattered and dock me for it. And that'd be the one to knock me down a few spots. All of ya'll seem to have a differing idea on what it means to be a Top Member or something.

It was still that way when there were 5 judges, it'd still be that way if there were 4 or 3. This is the reason why there are different judges and quite a few of them. We all have different opinions of a top member and we judge according to that. That's why I have each of the judges rank your entries from best to first and do the averages. That helps make up for the different opinions. Plus, no of you see all the rankings of the judges. While we all give different opinions, most of our rankings have people in the same general placement. There are only a few where some are on the top end of the list and the other on the bottom. It also best to have all these different opinions, so you keep things into consideration. However, we still want you to be yourself. If you start getting into the mentality of "gotta win, gotta please, gotta be who they want us to be" then you lose yourself as a member. The perfect example of what I said is Edge. Last cycle, during the beginning, he was strong impressing the judges (but me I'll add). He then slipped a little and lost the essence of what made him him. He then regained himself and began turning in great entry after great entry even impressing me. From my point of view, in the beginning he seemed a bit crazy and cocky, but after his slip he brought his crazy back but I no longer saw cocky. He ultimately stayed himself all the way through, but changed these little things based on our opinions in which made him the winner.
Sorry for the essay
