She should not send it to country. It won't make Top 15.

Add some heavy drums, a heavier beat, and sent it to AAA.

So many other stronger singles choice, I would of released Cupid's Got a Shotgun personally. But maybe she might win her first Pop Solo Vocal Performance Grammy this year with See You Again.
Because she sure ain't getting nominated for Country Song/Country Solo Performance with it.

It's still country.
She should've released Do You Think About Jesus though. 12 week #1 on country radio tbh.

It's the farthest sounding from country out of any song Carrie's released. It makes Blown Away look like a traditional sounding 90s country song.

Talk about a over reaction. This will do just fine on country radio.

I agree, but I also think it'd be a very good idea to release it to HAC and Pop.

It really won't though.
All you guys talk about how it isn't fair that We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together was able to chart on country airplay, well See You Again is just as pop sounding.
It has absolutely no country elements to it - which makes sense because it was originally written for Chronicles of Narnia. I know we all love Carrie, but there is no denying this isn't a good choice at all for a single. This time she's pushed it too far and I think it's going to get minimal airplay.

lets just see how it goes. but if they don't send it out to HAC/Pop it'll be borderline criminal
"ATRL is over capacity right now. Please try again in a few minutes."

You really can't compare the two, stop ******** your pants. SYA is nice. It's a very country influenced song. Lyrics are a huge part of country, and this song has country-influenced lyrics. Besides, Carrie, unlike Taylor in WANEGBT, still has her country vocals, sounds country, and is country. The arrangement is a little pop-leaning, yes, but it's still a country track. Even if it flops, she'll get the message if it does okay on pop.

She doesn't even sing it as a country song though. It has an all pop production. The lyrics may be country-influenced lyrics but when she sings it as a pop song with a pop production it's basically a a pure pop song.

SYA will do just fine. There are already radio stations tweeting away about SYA and waiting for the radio edit.
Deep Breath. It will be just fine. This era was never about playing it safe, it was about taking a risk and she has done that.
She can release the most country single of her career and she still would not get the credit she deserves so why should she not just release the singles she wants to
