I'm currently taking a class on the Music Business. It's fascinating so far. I'm definitely going to try and pursue a career in the field. I'll be promoting Carrie and persuading ha to release SYA to both Country and Pop in no time

And I will be smacking her for recording One Flop Ticket

So far I'm just taking an intro to the music business class, and you don't need math for this one. Though, I'm positive that whatever program you do will incorporate some kind of math. Likely accounting. Especially if you're looking for an artist manager type thing as they often oversee financial statements, etc.

That's on my Wikipedia and I don't know why. Someone keeps putting it up there. According to that page I'm also a member of a Native American tribe (2). We keep changing it and they keep changing it back: they're adamant I'm Scottish.

I didn't know she and her team edit her own wiki page, that's so cool! And she's Irish, but I wish she knows more than that. Maybe she should do an episode of "Who Do You Think You Are?" in the future like Kelly.

Did you get to finish college?
There's a drop date. If you're going to drop a class you have to do it by a certain point and then you can get your money back. So I waited for that day because I didn't know if they were going to cut me or not [from the show]. I remember it was all a secret and I had to go to see them and they were like 'Why are you dropping out now?' and I couldn't tell them.

It's a pity she dropped out of college, but at the bright side at least she won Idol.

Not really a Carrie stan, but I like her nevertheless and I'm really interested to know more about her.

She has a degree in Journalism from North Eastern Stadate University. She didnt drop out at all.

Carrie did go back and finish to get her Journalism degree after Idol. I remember seeing headlines about it. She just had to withdraw from her semester or something while she was on the show. But I remember her saying it was important to her to finish since she had already invested so much in it, regardless of whether she thought she'd use it.

She left though during Anerican Idol, she returned after she won to continue her degree. She had to keep it a secret because the auditions weren't aired yet I believe.

That program seems so interesting. Canada though doesn't have very diverse programs, especially Commerce/Business degrees. That would be such a cool career to have though, It's definately something I can see myself applying to though in September.
